Colgan Air Pilots poorly treated by NTSB summary statements
The following statements are just my opinions. I feel the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) recent release of summary statements treat the pilots poorly. Could a three man crew have influenced the outcome?
Hi Stephen, When I first hired on to TWA in 1964, we were required to live within two hours of our domicile airport. The option to commute did not yet exist. This commuting issue is a two edged sword as many pilots found the commuting ability a nice option. Would you support eliminating the commuting option? Why? or Why not? Thanks for your comment! I predict that airlines eventually will be forced to do away with pilots commuting to their base.
